Innovative design requires a brave client. Often there is a big difference between what a school thinks it is, what it actually is and what it is perceived to be. In these instances it may be that the pendulum has to be swung firmly in the opposite direction to address such misconceptions. This might alarm certain constituents in the Common Room and even sections of the parental body. Our inclusive, ‘buy-in’ process helps alleviate this but ultimately the Head or Governors will need to carry it through.

“Taking the decision to re-brand is one that requires careful thought and vision. Having worked with ‘the school branding experts’ to re-brand two schools, on both occasions the outcome has been contemporary and dynamic, whilst reflecting the tradition and ethos of the school. In the recent re-brand for Godolphin, Paul Kilvington worked closely with us throughout the process and spent time in school talking with staff, pupils, governors and parents to get to know it’s stakeholders before presenting any design concepts. And we are delighted with our new image. Our logo, prospectus and website has attracted considerable attention with its eye catching design, energy and traditional yet contemporary font. If you are prepared to be brave and allow ”the school branding experts” to be creative in their design, you won’t be disappointed.
